
For this episode of the JamDad Podcast, we’re serving up a cocktail that sounds wild on paper but tastes absolutely incredible. Our featured drink of the week is the Bufala Negra—a complex, savory, and sweet combination of rich bourbon, fresh herbs, and a tangy splash of balsamic. It’s the perfect companion for some late-night gear talk and unscripted laughs.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 3-4 Fresh basil leaves
- 0.5 oz Simple syrup
- 1 tsp High-quality balsamic vinegar
- Ginger beer to top
Instructions: In the bottom of a rocks glass, gently muddle the fresh basil leaves with the simple syrup and balsamic vinegar to release the oils. Fill the glass with fresh ice, pour the bourbon over the top, and give it a quick stir. Top it off with a splash of ginger beer and garnish with an extra basil leaf if you’ve got it.
